Question 1063147

EXAMPLE:
Say {{{ p=3 }}} and {{{ q=15}}},  certainly {{{ p<q }}}

What if we calculated the AVERAGE of these two numbers? Would that not be a number {{{x}}} such that {{{ p < x < q }}} because the average is mid-way between the two numbers?
