Question 1062968
I'm supposed to graph the function y=-3x in 2 ordered pairs.
-------
It's a straight line so you need 2 points.
You can use the x & y-intercepts.
---
At the x-int, y = 0.
0 = -3x
x = 0
--> (0,0)
=============
At the y-int, x = 0.
0 = -3x
x = 0
--> (0,0)
That's the same point, the Origin.
----
You need a 2nd point.
Pick any value for x.
x = 2 --> y = -6
--> the point (2,-6)
Plot the 2 points, draw a line thru them.
