Question 1058538

2x+6 = 3
----- ---
2x+8   4

8x = 3
--- -- then i flip these to and got
10x  4

8 divided by 4  = 2
10 divided by 2 = 5

answer I got was 2 over 5
<pre>This is quite vague.
Anyway, if your equation is: {{{(2x + 6)/(2x + 8) = 3/4}}}, and you're trying to say that that reduces to {{{8x/(10x) = 3/4}}}, you couldn't be more WRONG!
FYI: {{{matrix(1,8, (2x + 6) <> 8x, and, 2x + 8, CERTAINLY, DOES, NOT, "=", 10x)}}}
I think it's best to repost, but that time, make it less vague.
