Question 13335
All equations are solved basically the same way, even if they look bigger and harder than others. Your first thing to do is to get rid of the parentheses, which you can do by doing the distributive property. Once you do this, you get {{{c + 3c - 6 - c = 22 + 5c - 32}}}.

Once you get an equation to look like this, you do three things:

1. Combine like terms. In this case, you will get {{{3c - 6 = 5c - 10}}}.

2. Get everything with a c on one side of the equal sign and everything without a c on the other side of the equal sign. With this equation, you will come up with: {{{4 = 2c}}}. It doesn't matter which side you move the numbers to, but I put them this way so they will not be negative...

3. Solve. {{{c = 2}}}.
