Question 1050311
 If h is the altitude of a right circular cylinder and r the radius,
 Find the ratio of h to r if the lateral area is known to be 5 times the sum of the areas of the bases.
:
Lateral area = 5 times the sum of the base areas
{{{2*pi*r*h}}} = {{{5(2*pi*r^2)}}}
Divide both sides by {{{2*pi*r}}}
{{{(2*pi*r*h)/(2*pi*r)}}} = {{{(5(2*pi*r^2))/(2*pi*r)}}}
Cancel and you have
h = 5r
Ratio of h:r = 5:1
