Question 1043386
<font face="Times New Roman" size="+2">

First, decide what sort of tons you are talking about. Is it a short ton of 2000 avoirdupois pounds or a metric ton of 1000 kg. If the former, convert pounds per ton to kilograms per ton (Google the conversion factor), otherwise just use 1000 kg per ton. Whichever it is for your problem, multiply the number of kilograms per ton times 5.5 to determine the number of cubic meters of volume of your container. Then take the cube root to find the measure of one edge of the container.
