Question 1041921
A man travels 100km at a speed of x km/hr. He finds that he could have saved 2.5hrs if he had increased his speed by 2km/hr. Find x.

I made the equation: 100/x - 2.5 = 100/x+2
Is this right? Thanks :)

Solve for x and see.
It's not clear.  Add parentheses.
================
d = r*t
100 = x*t
100 = (x+2)*(t - 2.5)
------
Can you do the rest?
