Question 1040560
A bathtub is filled with a volume of 30 litres of water.
 The plug is pulled out and it empties at a rate of 3 litres per second.
A) write a rule linking the volume V with the time T
V = 30 - 3t
B) use your rule to find out the volume of water in the bathtub after 2.3 seconds.
V = 30 - 3(2.3)
V = 30 - 6.9
V = 23.1 liters remain
C) draw a table of values. You need to determine how many values your table of values needs in relation to this problem
It's linear so two values are sufficient
 t | V
-------
 1 | 27
 5 | 15
10 |  0
D) draw a graph to show the volume of water overtime
{{{ graph( 300, 200, -5, 14, -10, 35, 30 - 3x, 17) }}}
E) using your graph, approximately how much water was in the bathtub after 8
 seconds?
looks like 6 liters remain
F) using your graph, approximately how many seconds have gone by if there is 17L in the bathtub? Green line = 17, between 4 and 5 seconds
