Question 90176
Hi<br />

Well, what does domain actually mean? Basically it's the list of numbers you can put into the function for it to work, can you think of any numbers you can't put into the absolute value function?<br />

Range is similar, except it is the list of numbers you can get out of a function. You can't get every real number out of the absolute value function. For example, no matter what I put into it, I can never get -5 out.<br />

Now I've said that, have a think about what numbers you can put in (the domain) and what numbers you can get out (the range). If you still can't get it, post back with your thoughts.<br />
