Question 1037971
(1)
If WHAT?
Line p has slope {{{3/7}}}, and any line parallel to line p also has slope {{{3/7}}}.

If line 1 is parallel to p, then equation is {{{y-1=(3/7)(x-9)}}}.
{{{y-1=3x/7-27/7}}}
{{{y=3x/7-27/7+7/7}}}
{{{highlight(y=3x/7-20/7)}}}

(3)
Similar to number 1. You can start with point-slope form as done there, and solve for y.
{{{y-8=(4/5)(x-(-20))}}}
{{{y-8=(4/5)x+(4/5)20}}}
{{{y=(4/5)x+16+8}}}
{{{highlight(y=(4/5)x+24)}}}

(2)
You do this one. Two points. Find the slope. Use either given point and use in point-slope form, or you can do the whole thing from slope-intercept form. y=mx+b, b=y-mx.
Do you notice something that allows you to identify value of slope without any computation?
