what are you asking this isnt a sequence because its not a probable one
2*1=2
2+2 or 2*2=4
theres nothing with 2s that can make 4 go to 3 and nothing with 3s to make go to 8....

its also not consistant 
1 2 2 4 is four numbers and go up
3 8 7 10 up once then down then up

i can see up 1, up 0, up 2, down 1, up 5, down 1, up 3
also no pattern there
