Question 1034145
If the price of the ticket decreased by 20%, then it was sold at 80% of its' original value. Total collection rose by 60%, so:
T x .8=1.6
T=1.6/.8=2, or 200% of original ticket sales. So the amount of tickets sold has doubled.
Checking: Let's say the tickets cost $1 each, and we sold 100 of them. Our revenue is $100. Now $.80 x 200 tickets =$160, or 160% of our original revenue!!!!!!!
