Question 1029751
Try to imagine or DRAW the cross-section.

A line is 5 cm from the center of a circle, and the segment connected the intersected points in the circle is 24 cm. You want to find the diameter of the circle. Treat this as a coordinate geometry exercise. Choose the origin as the center of the circle. Although I say, "coordinate geometry", maybe you can solve this using Pythagorean Theorem.

Do you obtain this along the way?
{{{5^2+(24/2)^2=r^2}}} using r as the radius of the circle serving as a hypotenuse
