Question 12541
A relation is nothing more than a set of ordered pairs.
<BR>
A function is a set of ordered pairs with unique ( non-repeating ) X or Input Values.
<BR>
So to solve this question make a list of ordered pairs using your arrows, the ordered pairs are
<BR>
(3, -1), (3, -5), (2, -5), (5, 5), (4, 6)
<BR>
Now to tell weather this is a function or not, look at JUST the X values, if any of those X values repeat, that Relation is NOT a function, so since there are two 3's in the first and second ordered pair, that relation is NOT a function.
