Question 1026977

If 420 women at a conference comprise 40% of all people at the conference, how many people were at the conference?

So far I got
 (100+40)% 140*420
140/100=1.4*420=588

but also if I 420/0.4=1050
<pre>If 420 women represent 40% (.4), we can set up the following proportion, with P being the number of people
at the conference: {{{.4/1 = 420/P}}}. I'm sure you can finish this!
