Question 88104
{{{sqrt(sqrt(80))}}}
For a problem, like this, I recognize that the square root
of a number can be written as the number raised to the 1/2 power. So I can rewrite this problem as:
{{{(80^(1/2))^(1/2)}}}
Using the laws of exponents, I can simplify this to be:
{{{80^(1/4)}}}
This is the same as the 4th root of 80. (sorry this site doesn't allow me to write
that in a nice format).
Since 80 can be represented as 2*2*2*2*5, I can pull a single 2 out from under
the 4th root radical. This leaves me with:
2*(4th root of (5))
Good Luck,
