Question 1015842
{{{(27/20)(8/63)(6/35)}}}

To divide a fraction, we multiply by its reciprocal.

{{{(27/20)(8/63)(35/6)}}}

Now, to do this by hand we look to see what can cancel out. Factors the same in top and bottom.

27 is 3*9 and 63 is 7*9 so we can divide both 27 and 63 by 9.

{{{(3/20)(8/7)(35/6)}}}

Now it should be clear, 35 is 5*7 so let's hit those.

{{{(3/20)(8/1)(5/6)}}}

6 is 3*2 So that's next.

{{{(1/20)(8/1)(5/2)}}}

And 8 is 4 * 2

{{{(1/20)(4/1)(5/1)}}}

Now we see that with 4*5=20, the whole equation simplifies to 1/1.

When we first set this up, we might have simply multiplied across, and seen 7560/7560=1, but this method I showed is the way to do it in most cases, where the canceling will stop, and you will be left with a good fraction.
