Question 1011657
 3/5 of the beads in abox are yellow beads. The rest are red beads and blue beads.
There are twice as many yellow beads as red beads. There are 30 more red beads than blue beads. Find the total no of yellow beads and red beads.
-----
Equations:
(3/5)(r + b + y) = y
y = 2r
r = b+30
-----
Solve for  r, b, and y
---------------------------
(3/5)((y/2) + (y/2)-30 + y) = y
(3/5)(2y-30) = y
2y-30 = (5/3)y
(1/3)y = 30
y = 90 (# of yellow)
r = y/2 = 45 (# of red)
