Question 1011603
<pre>

It isn't true! So instead of proving it, let's disprove it:

{{{sin^6(theta)}}}{{{""=""}}}{{{expr(-1/32)(cos(6theta)^"" - 6cos(4theta) + 16cos(2theta) - 10)}}}

We'll just prove that it isn't true by substituting {{{theta=0}}}

{{{sin^6(0)}}}{{{""=""}}}{{{expr(-1/32)(cos(6*0)^"" - 6cos(4*0) + 16cos(2*0) - 10)}}}

{{{sin^6(0)}}}{{{""=""}}}{{{expr(-1/32)(cos(0)^"" - 6cos(0) + 16cos(0) - 10)}}}

sin(0) = 0 and cos(0) = 1, so

{{{0^6}}}{{{""=""}}}{{{expr(-1/32)(1 - 6(1) + 16(1) - 10)}}}

{{{0}}}{{{""=""}}}{{{expr(-1/32)(1 - 6 + 16 - 10)}}}

{{{0}}}{{{""=""}}}{{{expr(-1/32)(1)}}}

{{{0}}}{{{""=""}}}{{{-1/32}}}

So that is false. Did you perhaps copy it wrong?
