Question 86002
{{{((2x-6)/21)/((5x-15)/12)}}}
Whenever you are dividing 2 fractions, the trick is to change the divide into a multiply and take the reciprocal of the 2nd fraction:
{{{((2x-6)/21)*(12/(5x-15))}}}
Now, just multiply numerator times numerator and denominator times denominator:
{{{(24x-72)/(105x-315)}}}
Looks like if you can factor out a 3 from numerator and denominator:
{{{3(8x-24)/3(35x-105)}}}
Cancel out the 3's and you are left with:
{{{highlight((8x-24)/(35x-105))}}}
Good Luck,
