Question 1002312
Protractors usually have two sets of numbers going in opposite directions.

Be careful which one you use!

When in doubt think "should this angle be bigger or smaller than {{{90}}}° ?"

 to draw an angle , which is {{{70}}}˚.

Step 1:
Draw a line segment {{{AB}}} and mark {{{A}}} as the first endpoint

Step 2: Place the center of the protractor at the endpoint {{{A}}} and adjust the base line to be aligned to line segment.

 Step 3: Find {{{70}}}˚ on the outer scale of the protractor and mark that point as point {{{P}}}.

 Step 4: Remove the protractor and draw a line from point {{{A}}} to point {{{P}}}

 to bisect it by using compasses, open your compass and from the point {{{A}}} draw a arc so that it intersect both line segment {{{AB}}} at {{{S}}} and  line segment {{{AP}}} at {{{T}}}
then go {{{S}}} and draw a arc inside angle, do same from the point {{{T}}}

mark the point where these two arcs intersect and draw a line from A through that point

here is an video for you to understand how to do it:
