this problem is confusing: the volume of gas is 40 ft^3 at a pressure of 15 pounds per square inch. what is the volume of the gas if the pressure is increased to 36 p.s.i.? 
Assume that volume varies inversely as pressure.

k= 600

EQUATION:
V = 600/p
If pressure is 36 solve for V:
V = 600/36
V = 16 2/3 ft^3
