Hello,

1.
This is NOT calculus problem.  It is simple Algebra.

2.
(a)  q(2) = {{{6*2^2}}} + {{{7/2^2}}} = {{{6*4}}} + {{{7/4}}} = {{{24}}} + {{{1}}}{{{3/4}}} = {{{25}}}{{{3/4}}}.

(b)  q(0) = UNDEFINED

(c)  q(-x)= {{{6*(-x)^2}}} + {{{7/(-x)^2)}}} = {{{6x^2}}} + {{{7/x^2}}}.
