Question 84894

May I rewrite the question as x^2 + 13x + 30

We need to find 2 numbers whose product is 30 and sum is 13.

The numbers are obviously 10 and 3.

==> x^2 + 10x + 3x + 30

= x(x+10) + 3(x+10)

= (x+10) (x+3)

Thus the factorized form is (x+10)(x+3)

Hope it is clear.
