Question 991417
<font face="Times New Roman" size="+2">

195 travelled by plane or train, which does not exclude anyone who may have also travelled by bus which means that 195 represents the group of people who used any of the modes of transport except those who only travelled by bus. Then 40 travelled only by bus. Hence 195 plus 40 is the number of people who travelled by any of the three modes of transport. That sum, subtracted from the overall population of the survey is the number who did not use any of the three modes of transportation.
