Whatever you want to be parallel to didn't show up, but I can still tell you this:  Parallel lines have identical slopes, so you have the slope of your desired line from the slope of your given line and you have a given point.  Use the Point-Slope form:

where *[tex \Large \left(x_1,y_1\right)] are the coordinates of the given point and *[tex \Large m] is the given slope.
