Question 11986
well, milli means "a thousandth", ie 1/1000.

so 1 litre has 1000 millilitres in it

so always start from the definition, and then find what 1 is equal to, then find what you are asked for. I ALWAYS do this, ALWAYS. I am 37 and have done maths for 25 years and i ALWAYS do this meathod and i always get it right!

1000ml = 1 litre
so 1 ml = 1/1000 litres
so 90 ml = (1/1000)*90 litres

--> 90 ml is 0.090 litres

does this help?
