If *[tex \Large w\ =\ 2] when *[tex \Large y\ =\ 3], substitute 2 for *[tex \Large w] and 3 for *[tex \Large y] and solve for *[tex \Large k].  Once you know the value of *[tex \Large k], substitute that value into *[tex \Large w\ =\ \frac{k}{y}].  Then you can solve for either *[tex \Large y] or *[tex \Large w] when you know the other value.
