When they give you two points, the first step is to find the slope (m).
The slope of a line is he change in y divided by the change in x. You can use the points given to find this:

Now, you want to use the slope you just found in the above equation for the point/slope form of a line. You can use either of the two given points for your x1 and y1 terms. I will just pick the one you did:
