Question 83427
{{{ (2m-5n)/(n+3p) }}}  where if m=-2, n-4, and p=-1
It's not clear to me what the value of n is. Did you mean to make it n=4 or n=-4??

How does that Glade commercial go? "Plug it in, plug it in!!"

If you meant n=-4, then this is what you do.
{{{ (2m-5n)/(n+3p) }}}
{{{ (2(-2)-5(-4))/((-4)+3(-1)) }}}
{{{(-4+20)/(-4-3) }}}
{{{16/-7= -(16/7) }}}

If you meant n=4, then this is what you do.
{{{ (2m-5n)/(n+3p) }}}
{{{ (2(-2)-5(4))/((4)+3(-1)) }}}
{{{(-4-20)/(4-3) }}}
{{{-24/1= -24 }}}
