Question 976857
{{{y=(x-7)^2+8}}}

I prefer the equation for vertex form as follows:

{{{y-k=a(x-h)^2}}}

where (h,k) is the vertex.

{{{y-8=(x-7)^2}}}

The vertex is (7,8)

The axis of symmetry is the line x=7 as it's a vertical line running through the vertex.

X intercepts are when Y=0, but with the vertex above the X axis, and the parabola opening up, there is no X intercept.
