Question 975537
Use "^" for exponents.
Not clear what I am dividing, but
8*x^8/2*x^3

If this is correct, then you divide the coefficients 8 and 2 to get 4
x^8/x^3 is subtracting exponents, and you get x^5

Answer is 4 x^5

x*x*x*x*x*x*x*x/x*x*x*x*x

You can cancel the x s and see why subtracting exponents works in these problems.
