Find the lowest common denominator and then add the two fractions just as you would with the summation of any two fractions.


Notice that I said "add the two fractions" even though there is a minus sign.  Forget that you ever heard the words "subtract" or "subtraction".  Think of it this way and <u>always add</u>.
