Question 975332
Using formula for Slope,
{{{m=(9-4)/(3-5)=5/(-2)=-5/2}}}.

If you want to use Standard Form for the equation of the line,
{{{5x+2y=C}}}; and you choose EITHER of the given points to find value for C.

{{{5x+2y=5*5+2*4}}},
and just compute the right hand side.

You can choose any form of line equation you like. If chose to start with slope-intercept form, you can use b=y-mx and solve for b, and use algebra skills to put all the needed values back to y=mx+b and then transform into Ax+By=C form. OR you can use point-slope form to fill in {{{y-y[o]=m(x-x[o])}}} and use algebra skills to transform into Ax+By=C. Starting in standard form is more direct, if you know how this form works.
