Question 975077

I'm guessing that you mean:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ -1\ \leq\ 4x\ -\ \frac{1}{3}\ <\ 5]

unless you meant

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ -1\ \leq\ \frac{4x\ -\ 1}{3}\ <\ 5]

Unless " < / " was a typo...

Too many different ways to interpret your post. Repost. If you want to render "less than or equal" in plain text use "<=". If you have a polynomial numerator or denominator, include the entire numerator or denominator in parentheses. If your 4x is NOT part of the numerator of the fraction, enclose the fraction in parentheses. It is your responsibility to make yourself understood. We are here to help you with math, not play guessing games.

My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it
