Question 974537
Please show me the step by stem method...this is killing me!

8^(5/3)=2(4^(x/2))

I can do it by solving the left, dividing, and then logic; how do you do it another way? Please help!!!
<pre>85/3{{{"="}}}2(4^x/2)
{{{(2^3)^(5/3) = 2(2^2)^(x/2)}}}
2(3 * (5/3){{{"="}}}2(2)2 * (x/2)
{{{2^5 = 2(2^x)}}}
{{{2^5/2^1 = 2^x}}}
{{{2^4 = 2^x}}}
{{{highlight_green(x = 4)}}} ------ Expressions' bases are equal and so are their exponents
