Question 973985
12^(1/2)+12^(1/4)+12^(1/8) The square root of a square root is the fourth root. The square root of the fourth root is the eighth root. Fractional exponents are very helpful here. It is the square root of 12 +the fourth root of 12 + the eighth root of 12.

I could factor this, but it does not make it any easier. I cannot add the exponents, since this is addition of variables, not multiplication. I could take logs, but I don't have an equation.

I would solve it numerically, which is 3.464+1.861+1.364=6.689
