Question 971496
you use this equation to find the y int
{{{y=mx+b}}} where b is the y int
and m is the slope.

step 1:
find the slope

to do this you will need 2 points.
(1,8)(2,6)
put these points into the following equation
{{{(y^2-y^1)/(x^2-x^1)}}}
{{{(6-8)/(2-1)}}}
{{{-2/1}}}
The slope or m is -2.

step 2:
find b

once givce the slope, you now have
{{{y=-2x+b}}}
using a point
(1,8)
you can find b
{{{y=-2x+b
{{{8=-2(1)+b}}}
{{{8=-2+b}}}
{{{10=b}}}
since b is the y int, the y int is 10 or (0,10)
