Question 82798
How do I graph the inequality x=>5?
------------
First you graph the EQUALITY, x=-5 which is the vertical line passing thru
all the points where x=-5
----------
Then to get te graph of the INEQUALITY you choose a test point, like (0,0).
Substitue those values into the INEQULITY to see if you get a true statement:
0>-5
That is true; so the half-plane on the side containing (0,0) is the
solution fot the INEQUALITY.
--------
The complete graph is the line, which is the boundary of the inequality,
and the half-plane.
