Question 967768
Read the inequality, "the quadratic left-member is greater than zero".
Zero is the right-member of the inequality. The inequality as written is a single numberline graph.

{{{(x-1)(x-1)>0}}};
the critical value for x is 1. This critical value separates the number line into the intervals {{{x<1}}} and {{{x>1}}}. Testing both intervals will show that both intervals will satisfy the inequality. Understand clearly that {{{x=1}}} IS NOT a solution for the inequality.
