Question 963360
Can't use the calculator, why?
First year:
{{{10000(1-0.3/100)=9970}}}
Second year:
{{{9970(1-0.3/100)=10000(1-0.3/100)^2=9940}}}
So then for each year,
{{{P(n)=10000(1-0.3/100)^n}}}
{{{highlight(P(n)=10000(0.997)^n)}}}
Now use the calculator and calculate all the values from 3 to 10.
I'll do {{{n=10}}}.
{{{P(10)=10000(0.997)^10=10000(0.970402)=9704}}}
