Question 81826
60.6=58e^-k(1), how would I solve it using Newton's Law of Cooling?
-----------------
There is only one variable, k, so that is what you are solving for.
1.044828 = e^(-k)
Take the natural log of both sides to get;
-k = 0.043852
k= 0.043852
----------------------
As for Newton's Law of Cooling, I suggest you use Google
to find a readable explanation.
