On the unit circle, the x-coordinate of a point is the cos and the y-coordinate is the sin of the angle whose terminal side passes through that point.<br>
So {{{cos(theta) = 0.978}}} and{{{sin(theta) = 0.208}}}<br>
Since both sin and cos are positive, the angle terminates in the first quadrant. To find such an angle just use the inverse cos or inverse sin button on your calculator. Remember to set your calculator to degrees or radians, whichever you desire, before entering the following:
