Question 957104
a-b < c < a+b

18 - 14 < c < 18+14

4 < c < 32

The missing third side is between 4 and 32 (excluding both numbers)

Since c is some whole number, this means the smallest that c can be is c = 5. Why not 4? Because c > 4 and c is not able to be equal to 4.
