Well Chelsey, you are right on the square root of 100 being 10.
 But you can also find the cube root of 100 using your calculator.
 The cube root of 100 = 4.64158883361... In this number, the decimal part of the number never repeats and never ends. It is what we call an irrational number.

As you can see, the square root of 100 (10) is larger than the cube root of 100 (4.641...)

And hang in there, 8th grade will end soon enough so you should learn all you can now, because you'll really need it when you get into high school.
