Question 80770
Hello

I don't know what a or x is so these expressions can not be simplified completely

The square of three is 3*3 = 9
The sixth root of x to the fifth power is {{{x^(5/6)}}}
so the first answer is {{{9 * x^(5/6)}}}

For the second one
the cube of 2 is 2*2*2 = 8
The square root of a*x to the fifth is {{{a^(5/2) * x^(5/2)}}} or {{{(ax)^(5/2)}}} and which form is preferable depends on the context.
Probably you can give {{{ 8 * (ax)^(5/2) }}}

I don't have a copy of your textbook so I will leave it to you to figure out if this is what is needed for your answer.
