Question 949728

yes you are right

There were {{{100}}} children at the park.
If {{{20}}}% ={{{0.20}}} of the children were under {{{2}}} years old =>{{{0.20*100=20}}} children were under {{{2}}} years old

and {{{35}}}% ={{{0.35}}} were over {{{6}}} years old,
=>{{{0.35*100=35}}}

how many of the children there were between {{{2}}} and {{{6}}} years old.

The equation I came up with was: {{{x = 100 - (20+35)}}} this is correct

{{{x = 100 - 55}}}
{{{x = 45}}}  which is {{{45}}}%
