Question 944122

11/12-x/4=x/3+5/6

I know I have to find the LCD but I am not sure which numbers I should multiply to find the LCD. Please help to solve this problem.

Thank you
<pre>
{{{11/12 - x/4 = x/3 + 5/6}}}
11 - 3x = 4x + 10 ------- The denominators are: 12, 4, 3, and 6, so the LCD is 12
- 3x - 4x = 10 - 11
-7x = - 1
{{{x = (- 1)/(- 7)}}}, or {{{highlight_green(x = 1/7)}}}
