Question 80180
{{{(x-2)(2x*2x+x+4) = (x-2)(4*x^2+x+4)}}} now you want to multiply x by all of the values in second () and then multiply -2 by all the values in second ()
{{{x*4*x^2+x*x+x*4-2*4*x^2-2*x-2*4=4*x^3+x^2+4*x-8*x^2-2*x-8}}} now you want to combine alike terms, you can only combine (add or subtract) them if they have the same unknows (in this case you have only one unknown, it is x), also unknowns have to be raised to the same power ie you can add {{{x^2}}} and{{{2*x^2}}} but you can't add {{{x^2}}} and {{{3*x}}}
so your result is
{{{4*x^3-7*x^2+2*x-8}}}
i'm not too sure about the standard form, usually you would write your answer in descending order of the power of variables/unknowns

i hope this helps
