Question 79965
{{{x(sqrt(18))-3sqrt(8x^2)}}}
Rewrite the terms under the radical in terms of their factors to see what can be pulled out:
{{{x(sqrt(2*3*3))-3sqrt(2*2*2*x*x)}}}
You should now recognize that you can pull out a 3 from the first term and a 2x from the second, giving you:
{{{3x(sqrt(2))-6x(sqrt(2))}}}
You can now combine the 2 terms, since they are each represented by {{{sqrt(2)}}}:
{{{highlight(-3x(sqrt(2)))}}}
